3/25/07- Wow, it's been a while. I've been caught up in mixing the tracks and trying to finalize a few for some sort of a release or at least something to send out. Copyright stuff is taking forever, but I assure you that when things are finally finished, you'll get to hear some of the new tunes. Here's looking at you.
-Colin
11/18/06- I just posted a brand new version of "Soar to Me" on our myspace page. Hopefully you'll check it out and leave us a comment or something. It took me a while so I assure you its worth a listen! Rock on!
-Colin

11/7/06- We're still working on producing the album, but it's getting better by leaps and bounds. The best advice I can offer is to check out myspace (www.myspace.com/nohmusic) and see what happens. We should be putting some rough versions of new songs up their fairly soon. Until then, enjoy the versions of Change My World and Sentimental Girl that are on the myspace now. Or listen to Juxtaposition if you feel like riding old-school. Peace.

8/6/06- So recording is moving along.  We still have August to work on the album and the things that we've got right now sound great.  Some of the stuff we're working on might be posted on myspace soon, but we'll let you know if it does.  Peace.

6/7/06- Damn, colin got lazy and decided to stop updating the site. So I (Matt) had to take over. Anyhow, our second album is under construction. I layed down a bangin' drum track last night. We got a crapload of new songs and some older ones going on the record. It will be a while before it is released. In other news this week... No One's Hero will be playing at the simsbury teen center on June 17th. This is going to be our last show for a while so if you want to see us this is your only chance. more info is in the on the road section. alright enjoy your mac and cheese. -Matt

4/23/06- Thanks to an awesome online resource called YouTube, we now have a few videos up in the media section of the site. Check them out!
-Colin

4/10/06- I apologize for the lack of updates...not much new has happened in the world of NOH. Over spring break, we learned a new song titled Deja Vu (lyrics are up) and played a killer show at the Webster Underground. We now have a new show on April 29th in Avon. It is posted in the tour section. On another note, I've been hard at work on a newer, better website for the band. However, I don't know when it will see the light of day. Probably when we make some money. So come out to the next show, buy a CD, and maybe you'll see a new website go up soon. See you guys. Oh yeah, in case the six-song demo stream wasn't working for you, I've updated the link. So check it out if you haven't yet.
-Colin

2/27/06- So I went home this weekend for my Mom's birthday and we tried out for the UCONN battle of the bands. Matt couldn't make it to the tryouts, so we had our friend Dan fill in. We didn't make it. That sucks. But we're submitting our demo around Emerson for a few possibile things this week. We'll give you the update when things get verified. See ya around. Oh yeah, and Billy's been writing some kickass tunes.
-Colin

2/8/06- We have a new show on our hands. We're opening for a band called Lourds at the Webster Underground. It is on March 12th (yes, a Sunday), but we want you all to come out and see us! Why? Because we love you and you love us. So send an email to nohmusic@lycos.com and we can try to hook you up with tickets. See you all around, and hopefully at the show!

1/31/06- Because I'm broke, I'm missing out on an awesome show tonight: Less Than Jake and the Rock n' Roll Soldiers...oh well. Anyway, here's some good news for ya! You can now stream the entire six-song demo we recorded in my basement (November 2005) in the Multimedia section. It should pop up in a seperate window so you can continue browsing the web while jamming to the tunes. We hope you enjoy it...let us know what you think.

1/10/06- Happy New Year all.  We've had an intense last two days of practicing and writing.  We're currently working on two new songs titled Gentle Logic and Jeff.  We're still basking in the glory of our latest six-song demo, however we can see that the future is near.  And so we trudge on, hoping to mold our lives into something meaningful.  I think we did.  Anyway, lyrics are up in the lyrics section (duh).  Enjoy.

12/5/05- In case you haven't realized yet, a demo of Damsel is posted on our myspace (www.myspace.com/nohmusic). Currently I've been spending an hour or so each day mixing the six bad boys we finished so that we can really hear them the way they should sound. Its tought but I should have them done for our show on December 16th. We might sell them for a few bucks or something, we usually make a good deal for our customers. So come out to the show if you're interested in these tunes. They're grrrrrrrrrrrreat!
-Colin

11/25/05- Remember how we always used to lie to you and say we'd record, but never actually did? Well we're glad to say that this time, my friends, we are laying down some sick ass shit. The last two days we've spent working our asses off to get good demos of Despondency and Heroes. Near the end we layed down drum, bass, and guitar tracks for Damsel, but no vocals. We've got a roughly mixed version of Despondency and Heroes (though Heroes is missing vocals right now...). Check in a few days...you might just find a roughly mixed goodie online. Love ya.
-Colin

11/18/05- Welcome to November (I know this is 18 days late, whatever). I put a warm picture up on the homepage to heat you all up. Anyway, we got a show on the Webster main stage lined up which is gonna be killer. We'll post the info as soon as we get more. So far all we know is its on December 16th. Also, I added a newer and improved guestbook unlike that lame one from before. It will actually save you comments for more than a week. Sign it here:

To end this, expect fucking awesome new tunes to be demoed over the break and possibly posted online for you to hear and enjoy.

10/22/05- My family came up to Boston today and gave me some NOH pictures my dad took from the last show. They're now posted in the multimedia section for your viewing pleasure. They came out great (though the versions you'll see are lower quality so they fit on the website. Damn we're poor, when are we gonna invest in a real website?). Anyway, we feel really bad we haven't been providing you with any new recordings or songs but like the last million times we said it, we're going to demo some songs over Thanksgiving break. It should be cool. Enjoy those pictures.
-Colin

10/14/05- Fenix TX show went amazingly. We met a bunch of cool people including Fenix TX and had a great time playing. My Dad took some kick ass pictures that we should have up sometime soon. Rock on.
-Colin

10/3/05- Yay I'm 20 years old now. Anyway, we still have plenty of tickets to sell for the show this weekend so talk to Chris or Matt if you want tickets. Or you can still email us at nohmusic@lycos.com! You'll save money if you buy them from us before the show. Possible demo recording session while Billy and I are home this weekend so check for updates. See ya.
-Colin

9/19/05- Nothing too new, I just added a cool flyer to the front page to get you all psyched for the show! You all have to come out and rock with us. See you there.
-Colin

9/13/05- Awesome news everyone! We're playing a show October 9th at the Webster Underground. What makes the show so special is that it is the night that the Fenix TX Reunion Tour (also with Allister, A Day at the Fair, and Houston Calls) is stopping in Hartford. So come out for a night of classic pop-punk by Fenix TX (and watch us too!)
-Colin

8/21/05- We had a sweet practice a few hours ago.  We ran through a lot of material and learned a new song called Restless.  Its really spooky, but catchy.  Lyrics are up and you can read them by clicking here.  On a sad note, we have less than a week before we part ways for college.  As we proved last year, however, this won't slow us down (too much).  We'll hopefully get some shows in place soon and we're hoping to get a new album out in 2006.  Seriously, this new stuff is kicking our asses.  See you all in Hollywood.
-Colin

8/16/05- So here's the inside scoop: Bubble Joy Hazard played an interesting show last Friday and covered a lot of our tunes.  From what Tom Foolery said, it went well.  Anyway, No One's Hero is going to start demoing as soon as possible.  Not only does that mean lots of experimenting for us, but possibly some previews of new songs for you guys.  So stay tuned for more information soon.
-Colin

7/27/05- About to go practice with Chris and Billy.  There's an upcoming show.  It's at Coldstone Creamery (Simsbury Commons) on August 12th and we're inviting you to buy an ice cream and chill out to the voluptuous acoustic soundwaves of Bubble Joy Hazard.  Thats right, BJH, our mysterious and kinky alter-egos.  Never heard of them?  Thats cause we've never done anything like this for the public.  So if you're in the mood for some acoustic No One's Hero tunes (including Matt on percussion), a few covers of our favorite songs, or straight up hardcore bondage, check it out.
-Mr. Mysterio

7/25/05- A few practices have come and gone.  I asked Billy what the name of our newest song was, he said Ladder 2.  You know, the one I was talking about in the last update.  Anyway, Billy is in Maine camping and the rest of us are around getting work done.  I want to record some demos, maybe it'll happen soon.  See ya.
-Colin

7/7/05- It's been a long time since we've updated mainly because we've all been out and about.  We had our first band practice in a while yesterday and we received a recording of our live show at AHS from June 10th.  If I get to it I may post an mp3 of one of the songs.  We also learned a new song.  I forgot what its called but its really old.  I think I've learned it twice.  Whatever.
