No One's Hero

NOH - The Band

bandsketched.jpg

No One's Hero formed in early 2001 with Matt, Chris, Billy, and Colin.  They now have a variety of originals (see other music info) and they have released three full length EP's somehow, Broken Picks and Roundhouse Kicks (June 2002), Yellow (October 2002), and Super Bubbles (November 2002).  Currently they are working on recording a full length CD in the Van Deusen's basement. Their music ranges from pop punk, to more traditional punk, to just plain weird shit. With their buzzsaw guitars, awesome riffs, crazy drums, and Colin they'll be most likely decomposing their way into the 22nd century.  Up to this date, they have played shows with bands such as Reel Big Fish, Montys Fan Club, Allister, Fenix TX, Littlest Man Band, Blood Brothers, Lucky Boys Confusion, Feable Weiner, Cruiserweight, Lazy Way Out, Faulter, Faster Than Sound, Blind Luck Music, Under Investigation, Sometimes She Burns, Greg Wood, ISL, Saveface, Sugarfist, Drunkin' Beernuts, Sunday Driver, The Honorary Title, Army of Me, Digger and WEST BEVERLY! Kudos to you, Mr. Stinklesworth.

how do you write a song/music?:  Well, first of all, I rarely come up with full songs on my own that become NOH material (but I do write my own stuff every now and then).  Sometimes I write a few bass licks I like, show 'em to Chris, and together we write a song instrumentally.  Most of the time, its the other way around (Chris comes to me with riffs and I put a bass line to it...).  Then I go back and write lyrics that fit the song.  Most of the songs I sing are ones that Chris and I wrote together.  Billy sings almost all of the new ones.
